WHO ARE WE?

We are an independent company that has provided training and consultancy to 1000s of people in 100s of organisations in 6 countries on 3 continents for over 20 years.

We provide consultancy and training to:

  • Social workers, teachers, residential social workers, foster carers, adopters and others

  • The knowledge, skills and attitudes to help children who have suffered trauma and adversity
  • Therapeutic skills for residential care staff, teachers, foster carers and adopters
  • Ideas and skills to prevent and manage challenging behaviour (including a Restraint Reduction Network accredited method to hold a child to prevent injury)
  • Understanding and responding to self injury
  • The TCI and TCIF programmes for children's homes, schools and foster care developed at Cornell University

The whole tale is told in the historic present creating an immediacy and vitality which is sustained to the very last page.
